AUGUST 31, 2011

Many and probably all of you already know who read my blog. But.... on Christmas Day Nog and I found out I am Pregnant!!! Seriously! Who finds out that kind of news on Christmas DAY? It was the BEST Christmas ever! I woke up that morning went straight to the bathroom and took a test. I had just taken a Pregnancy test 3 days earlier and it was negative so my hopes weren't very high at all. In fact I was convincing myself I wasn't so that when it came out negative I wouldn't be sad on Christmas. But the thought of finding out on Christmas Day just sounded so great I had to take one anyways. So I pulled out my handy dollar store test, and then set it on the ground while I washed my face and started getting ready for the day. Nog was still asleep which was my plan all along, so I was being really quiet. Then I picked it back up 10 minutes later and could see a tiny light light pink line, I didn’t know if it was real or my eyes playing a trick on me so I starred at it for probably 5 minutes. I still didn't believe it though because after all it was a dollar store test so I said a prayer. I said "If this is not for real make this line go away cause I don't want to get excited then be let down." (As this dollar store test has fooled me before)" I want a baby SOOOOO BAD! So just to be 100% sure I drank like a gallon of water so I could take another test, but this one was a digital test that pops up the word PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT (I’ve been saving this one). I drank so much water, I felt sick but I wanted to take the test before heading over to my families for breakfast and gift exchanges. So, I hid the pregnancy test from Nog so if it really was for real I could show him the digital one. We went out into the family room and opened our presents to each other, and when we were all done I told him I had to go to the bathroom. I took the test waiting the LONG 30seconds for the timer to stop turning and to pop the word…. and it did! PREGNANT! I hurried and put it in a bag with tissue paper and ran out to Nog telling him I forgot to give him a present. He was really curious though because I am the type of person, that the second I get a present for someone I wrap it up and stick it under the tree within 5 minutes of walking in the house. What can I say, I love Christmas. But of course he still took it and opened it. He pulled out the test (don't worry it has a cap over the gross part). It was so amazing and I recorded the whole thing :) Who could ask for a better Christmas present?! .... We wrapped it back up and brought it over to my families for the secone present for our white elephant gift exchange, then to the Pearce side later on that day :) It was a wonderful day. Nog had been recording when Rae opened the Victoria Secret bag I wrapped it in :) and the family saw. Watching this made me cry. I am sooooooo excited to be a MOM. I cannot wait for August 31st when I get to meet my precious little baby.

Side Note

Interesting Fact: I decided to grow out my natural hair color it will be hard but I'm gunna do it! Who believes in me? :) But I better still put in some highlights to covering up those grays! I am 22 years old with gray hair?!. Who has gray that young, Weirdo.

Happy Day

Here I am sitting on the couch waiting for Nogs to get home from work. I'm eating a chocolate donut and drinking chocolate milk (Ovaltine) to be exact. A friend from work asked if I wrote on my blog yet about Hawaii, and then I remembered I haven’t written on here in forever! Probably the longest I've ever gone. Sooo I guess for an update I will start by saying, this last weekend I got to spend an ENTIRE weekend with my Mama! She stayed at our house and I loved every minute of it! She came down for Kyler’s Baptism which was by the way amazing. Where did that girl come from, seriously! We went grocery shopping where I was introduced to this splendid Ovaltine, we watched How to Train your Dragon. (I think I've seen it like 10 times now) It's Nogals Favorite! Rae, Mom, and I continued my song that I made up for Nog! It's the same back ground music to an episode on the Simpsons that I've never seen before (correction, "The Simpsons Movie") but saw on a commercial one time I think it was with Jay because we watched it over and over. We thought it was so funny so we kept rewinding and listening to it. And from then on I've had it memorized. This is my original that I sing to him about 5 times daily (literally)
Nogal Bear,
Nogal Bear,
Does whatever a Nogal Bear does.
(Repeated over again)
The original words on The Simpsons are...
Spider Pig,
Spider Pig,
Does whatever a Spider Pig does.
But... what I didn't know was that the song continued (we found that our by looking it up on youtube) SO we sang this song to him about 20 times that night and each night after
Song Continues....
Can he swim from a web?
No he can't cause he's a Bear.
LOOK OUT he is a Nogal Bear.
After so many times of this sweet duet Nog would walk out of the room he got so annoyed it was hilarious. Now he says he's going to punch me every time I try singing that song to him. (But I still do it when I'm not in his reach)
-those two chaps are so great!-
Karol and I got her some fancy new scrubs for her new job :). She was concerned for the "girly bow tie" on the side. But I thought it looked quite dainty if you ask me, that was fun! And of course Filibee's immediately after she got here. It is her all time Fav.
Kyler, Mara, Gav, and Oaki, spend the night 2 nights in the row they were thrilled. In each of their prayers they said "thank you that we can spend the night at Aunt Annie's and Uncle Nog's 2 night in a row"
soo cute!
I sure do love my sweet ol Ma.

Also, we just got back from Hawaii last Tuesday we went to celebrate our 1 year Anniversary. It was a really great trip. We spend some time with some friends, Sherry & KC, Alex and Katherine, Yo & Michelle, it was great. Here are some pictures of it.

Catch Up...

SO... First of all I wanted to talk about about my nieces and nephews. I wish I could see all of them all the time and I hate that half of them live a billion light years away and they really need to visit! So for now I want to speak of these little munchkins. First there is little Oaki Doo. Now everytime I call her little she says "I not little Annie I Big now" :( she is so busy ALL the time and every time I see her she crys for me to hold her until I finally pick her up, then after a minute or two she gets bored and gets down. We got to watch Oaki and Gav the other day while Ree Ky and Mara went to a play....

Gav, he is the sweetest boy. Randomly he will come up out of no where and bring me a glass of water it's so cute and he is so excited to give it to me. When we took him and Oak out for pizza the other night he said "Can we get pepperoni then I take the pepperoni off cause I don't like pepperoni." But he also doesn't like cheese pizza. He likes to get pepperoni then take them off and that is the only way he likes it. But this time he tried the pepperonis and said "Annie I think I weally do like peppewoni it taste weally good!"
and after that we went to look at the Temple Christmas lights but they weren't on yet because it was before Thanksgiving so we just walked around. :)

Nog would bunch up his straw paper and put drops of water on it so it would expand and they both thought that was the coolest thing they ever saw. He did it about 20 times.

----- TURKEY TROT----

Thats right I did it! I did the Turkey Trot. I trained for it and I did it. It was so great and I am so proud of myself because yes it was only 6.2 miles but I thought I might die at the end.
To start from the beginning,
Me and Nog woke up a little bit too late
We drove down to were I thought the Turkey Trot was but I was wrong and it was really somewhere else. So I was panicing and Nog said don't worry it will be okay and I being over dramatic said "NO it won't" we won't be able to run... haha I had just started my womans cycle so I get a bit crazy and dramatic at times. (poor Nog)

So... sure enough we finally got there we ran about a mile there to the starting line and I was already out of breathe. I wanted to take a breather before running 6 miles but right when we got to the starting line the guy in the microphone yelled, "If you are wanting to run the 10k and haven't started yet you have about 5 seconds until it's too late so you better get going!" So I threw on my Turkey Trot shirt and started running. Nog's knee and shin splints had really been hurting him the past couple of days so he was thinking he couldn't run it because even the day before it hurt to even walk. But he woke up this morning feeling so much better and was able to run it! :) so we ran..... and for the first 2 and a half miles he stuck right by my side I loved it. Then he took off. I continued running and I felt like everytime I wanted to stop a really good song would come on and motivate me to keep going. Also there was a girl in a red jacket and black running pants, with blonde hair in a low pony tail right infront of me for a really long time that I kept stairing at. I told myself to keep up with her, and I did, for a while. Then after I got to the fourth mile I got really tired and walked for 30 seconds then kept on running, and caught back up to that girl. Eventually she passed and right when I really wanted to give up on mile 5 Nog came back for me. So I kept pushing and I finally crossed the finish line. I beat my goal time by 7 minutes! It was such an amazing feeling and I loved that Nog did it with me. We didn't get to take pictures while we were there so we took some right after before getting in the car to drive home. It was a great way to start out our Thanksgiving Day !

Victory!!

After the run we went over to Brian and Pat's. Pat's family came too it was alot of fun. These are pictures mostly Rae took at the park. Gav loved this scooper guy. He was on it forever.

I love Ky's pose in this one she's getting so big, so pretty.

I love this picture

That's a keeper

The kids barried Kaydence in the sand to her knees then put her shoes next to her so she looks like she has tiny legs. hahaha

Oaki too

after leaving Brians and Pats we went to the Goodmans for another feast. I have no pictures but it was a really good time and we ate WAY too much for 2 meals in a row.

....

That next day was the Turley's side family reunion. It was so much fun seeing all the family and hanging out, dancing, talent shows, being really big dorks mostly.

Eatin diner

I LOVE them!!

Andrea and her boy

The Duncans talent.. this was really the best

Temple light (they were on this time)

Then we went to the Pearce side for Sunday diner and made ornaments with clay. :)

Last year at ornament night I made a really weird looking troll guy that Nog always makes fun of so I told him that each year I'm going to make another bigger and better each time... Although I don't know how I'm gunna beat the one I made this year
