Oh brothers I love them!!
Today I was thinking about my niece Oaklie. I think about her quite a bit, I LOVE that little girl. I woke up this morning with a zit on my cheeck and it reminded me of a little while back, I went over to Ree's house to hang out with her and the kids. When I got there oaklie had noticed I had broken out and pointed it out to me, she said "Annie, what happened right there" (pointing to my face). I said oh you know, a zit. Of course she doesn't know what that is, and says "but what happened?" she was so concerned and wanted to make sure I was okay! I was laughing so hard I told Logan that story and now we always quote her when somethings wrong, "but what happened" OH I love her!
I also thought about my sweet husband and how good he is to me. When I was little every sunday our family would go on what we called our "sunday drives". I LOVED these drives more than anything and what I loved most was at the end of the drive every single sunday without fail each kid (9 of us) would pretend we were sleeping so that dad could carry us inside. We ALL wanted only our DAD to carry us in. So when we knew we were a couple blocks away from the house we would shut our eyes and be as still as we could be it was awesome. And of course one by one our amazing dad would carry us in the house sometimes it would take a half hour for him to get to me but it was worth the wait.... Now, each night me and Log always finish our night talking on the couch, hanging out in the family room, regardless, I always end up falling asleep on the couch. Every single time this has happened he doesn't wake me up and tell me to go to bed, but he picks me up and says "come here babe" without fail and carries me to our bedroom. It is the sweetest thing ever and sometimes I'll admit I still pretend im sleeping so I can be carried to bed. I LOVE my husband
