I LOVE LOVE the 4th of July. Back when all of my family lived here we would all go camping up in Heber and see the parade and fireworks celebrated the weekend of the Forth. Now this year we will still enjoy that same tradition but 7 people will be missing. It will be Ree and Trent, and Maegan and Colvin and us. This year our plan is to go to up to Mom and Dad Pearces cabin instead of camping so the little ones won't get cold at night and will have a bed to sleep in. We will leave tomorrow for our cabin camp out, yay!
We will spending alot of time up there this month. We will be going up next weekend too for the Pearce Reunion and then 2 weeks later for the Vanepps Reunion. I'm excited to be out of the heat and spend so much time with family.
On the actual 4th we went to our friends Regan's. We swam and had a bbq then went to Apache Junction at night for the firework show. The weather on the forth was nothing short of AMAZING. It was over cast and rained for just a little it was in the 80's all day and I was in heaven. Nog went out and mowed the lawn and trimmed first thing in the morning so we thought we would go out and watch and paint our nails while we waited. Well Koli wouldn't stay still so more like she watching me paint mine. She was still really really excited. When it started raining we moved our blanket to the front door instead so we wouldn't get yet. But Koli decided she wanted to get wet anyways. She crawled right into the rain and when she did she looked back at me and gave me the biggest smile how could I move her out of it. So I let her play in the rain for a little and she loved it.
My 4th of July nails
Regan and I have been friends since I can remember but she moved to Tuscan for a couple years and we hadn't really seen each other for about 7 years. Now she is back and we got to talking and now we are inseparable. It feels like no time was lost. She is the best friend ever I love her!!
Waiting for the fireworks to start.
Brain freeze, I wonder were Koli got that tongue of hers...
Forth of July celebration to be continued....
