Jay's GRADUATION

Jay is SO big!!

I can't believe he is graduated from high school now!

I still can remember those days, him

getting ready for school screaming

at the top of his lungs

cause his hair wasn't just perfect,

and i am dead serious!!!

If there was one hair out of place

there was no way he's leaving the house

until it's just the way he likes it.

And we can't forget his boots!

He had these cowboy boots

that he was obsessed with.

He wouldn't take them off for anything,

he slept with them, he did everything in these boots.

They were his pride and joy.

Mom would try taking them off after he fell asleep,

he would wake up crying

making sure they did not escape his feet.

We would tell him about 20 times a day

to wash his feet and he would reply, "i just did!"

He's so awesome!

Oaklie kept asking, when can we see Jay,

and while she patiently waited

she was clappin with the audience

at absolutely everything. It was the cutest thing.

She loved being there.

2 hours later we finally got to see him.

This boy is incredible.

He can make anyone laugh no matter what mood they're in.

He has done that for me a thousand times.

And i don't know what i would do without him.

Jay: "Thanks for being here buddy,

your the best!"

Trent: "You bet Jay,

i wouldn't miss it for the world"

Play Day

Me and Log woke up

and got ready for a day at the pool

and just hangin out,

but first came meggi's house to cut gg's hair.

Kaydence was lovin playin ball with Logie

she couldn't get enough of him it was cute.

I have never seen this little girl

open up as much as she did today.

I loved watchin her play

I have the most amazing grandma ever.

I will always remember her

picking me up from junior high school

and taking me to my orthadontist appointments

for my monthly really cute braces check up,

she would have the oldies station on

playin her favorite songs.

She would ask me all about my life,

how school was,

she would say " how's andi doin"

she is so sweet and she gets so excited

to see us come,

we need to come visit her more...

and she is do dain hilarious

seriously i am always laughing

so hard any time i go see her.

I love every minute i get to spend with this amazing lady!!

I am so blessed to have a grandma like her.

after our swim, we took a trip to the mall

so i could spend a gift card i had.

Log was really excited about this apparently.

He found a play ground and couldn't stop playin

Perfect! just for toddlers :) that's my little boy

When we got inside i found these amazing jeans

that i could NOT part with,

and a couple of shirts as well.

I begged Logan to let me get them

cause they were over our budget.

He looked at me giving me the look of

"Annie, you're going to die put those back"

but after i worked my magic,

one back massage,

diner for a week,

and promising him no more shopping

what so ever

until october,

i got my pants and shirts.

Sick Boy

Logie woke up sick with a high fever,

ear ache, and soar throat,

and in so much pain Sunday morning.

 

We thought it was because

he hit his eye with a metal rod on Saturday,

his eye is soo pink.

But i guess that wasn't related.

Poor Logie has been in bed sleeping for the past 2 days.

We said a prayer he would be able to go

to the Gila Valley Temple dedication with me on Sunday,

and just before it was time to get ready

he started feeling better.

It was so incredible,

the spirit that was felt there was so strong,

I havent felt it like that in a long time.

I feel so blessed i was able to be there in that third session,

I felt so uplifted and strengthened from it.

Just after it was over

Log got really sick again,

worse than before,

so it was definitly meant to be

that we were both able to go together.

 

We went to Urgent Care this morning

and found out he has strep throat with a fever.

We got him on some anti-biotics

and he should be just fine in a matter of days.

SO glad!!!

 

It's been soo fun taking care of him

and getting him back to health,

I seriously love a sick weak boy

that I get to hold all day, it's the BEST!!!

New Back Porch!!!!

This is our brand new back porch!!

I'm sooo dain excited!!!

It's gunna be so much fun cooking bbq's on it,

and gettin it all set up.

We have done so many changes to this house already,

it is so fun making a house feel more like a home!

And i absolutely LOVE our home!

Look! We can play four square,

it's a perfect 4 square court, it was meant to be,

we got the lines and all.

and Log carved our names into the cement,

the date when we got married.

So cute!

That means its officially ours concrete

when your iniatals are on it.

Kids at Heart

Me and Log have a date night together once a week,

I look forward to our next date night the

second it's over...

This week i wanted to be more creative

than our usual going out to eat,

trying to see a movie but end up leaving

cause nothing good is playing.

Plus, we can't do that every week it gets a bit expensive.

So... we decided to make some sloppy joes for diner,

grab some candy from the cupboard,

and make a FORT to watch a movie in...

and that is just what we did!

Growing up, forts were my absolute favorite!

Me and my siblings made them all the time,

we would sleep in them,

eat in them,

poop in them,

just kiddin

and show everyone our awesome fort.

BUT...

It was actually harder than i remembered it being.

To get the blankets to stay up

so that we could actually see the top half of the screen,

we had to put a broom stick right in the middle,

cutting off some of our view to the movie,

it was pretty funny.

Log was burning up

cause the blankets were stopping the air flow,

as i was loving life,

but i gave in and turned down the ac to pretty much

freezing

and bundled up while he was sprawled out as usual.

It ended up being the BEST date night yet :)

Our family visit to the Gila Valley Temple

It was soo pretty inside,

all of the pictures were amazing

and the Chandeliers were a dream

especially in the celestrial room.

Im so happy i got to go!

after we all went out and got some food

we got bored waiting for it to come

so we had to keep ourselves intertained somehow...
so we took some really pretty pictures

and i mean pretty!!

I made this exact meal the other night for diner.

It was really no big deal,

if you know me, you know i'm ALL about cooking!
