Little Pals

This picture is so funny! Look at those tiny feet. This girl does everything now she rolls over all day long. Changing her diapers are getting harder and harder. I remember being at my friends house watching her change her little girls diaper and she was rolling in every direction it was the funniest thing I laughed and laughed and she told me you just wait she'll be doing it too. Well it's starting and it's still pretty dang funny. She blows bubbles at me, talks to me, smiles at me, and her newest thing... shes laughing at me. I love hearing her little voice. She makes me smile day and night. I am in true love with my little girl.
Best friends, these two, holding hands and having a good ol time. Asher is 2 and a half months younger but you would never know it when you see them together. I LOVE this boy! He is taller then Koli and weighs the exact same as her too. They could be twins.

Sleep Deprived

We heard about this water that is supposed to help babies with being fussy and to calm them for a bunch of other reasons too. It's all natural and so I thought okay sounds good to me we'll try it. We have been giving it to Koli and it's been amazing. It helps her fall asleep so fast I think she likes the taste so she goes right to bed. It's called Gripe Water and it's our new favorite. Kolis still working on sleeping through the night, but so far I am still just very tired during the night and that carries on through the day. Last night Koli woke up hungry I slowly stumbled out of bed and walked into her room, picked her up, and carried her back into our room so I could feed her then go back to sleep. I did so and 3 hours later she woke up again ready to eat. I kept the gripe water right next to my bed just in case I would need it, and I guess I did because in my sleep in the middle of the night when Koli was crying I picked up the bottle, opened it and you know, just dumped it out, all of it, all over the bed. Nogs shoulder was soaked, so was my sticky arm and Kolis head. I think I need to get more sleep what do you think?

Upgrade

Alright, get ready for a billion pictures because it's coming your way. We just re-did our bathroom so that GG's scooter could fit in here. First we widened the door way, but after we did that we realized we had to get rid of the counters that were here too because they were just too big and bulky and her chair still could not fit. So out they went.
We were pretty excited to redo this bathroom, if it weren't for GG it probably never would have gotten done so now we had an excuse to make it our own.
And so we did.
Here we are taking a picture of us in our "old" bathroom.
Nog just finished taking down the side mirror.... now what?
Now, Trent came over and helped take out the old counter top do you see that awesome wall paper behind it? Just in case you can't I'll give you a close up.
Here it is! Behind the mirror lied this beauty. So crazy I wish I saw this bathroom when the whole thing had wallpaper on it or better yet I wish I saw this whole house long before we got our hands on it.
We got new tile since there was no tile to match the rest of the bathroom after we took out the counter tops. Here is the new baseboard that Nog put in.
We went to Dunn Edwards to get the paint. We came home painted the bathroom and half way through realized! Shoot! They gave us flat paint instead of low sheen. Meaning, very hard to clean and looks kinda weird if painted all over a bathroom. So we finished what we started thought maybe we could get away with it and keep it flat but it looked to weird and plus it would have drove me crazy so we went back to the store got the right paint and started all over. I was glad we did it again.
~
This is the glue Nog used to put up the giant mirror up. He got creative and wrote our initials on the wall, and there they will lie, forever behind our mirror.
This is the transition tile leading into the new tile
 And...... Dadadaduuuuuuuuunnn. Complete!

 So happy to be done.

Attention Kmart Shoppers

Except it's not Kmart it's Frys...
GG, Koli, and I decided to break free from the house and head off on an adventure. GG was excited to test out her new rental scooter and I was excited to push Koli in her stroller which by the way really needs the tires to be pumped up. Poor thing, we never did pump up those tires since the day we broke it free from its box. But, it still works. All three of us got on our day time clothes and put on our shoes, socks, and slippers.
Rewind, funny story.
So on Saturday night GG says to me Annie will you grab that blue shirt with flowers on it out of my closet so I can wear it to church tomorrow? I walk over, looked through all of her blue shirts (they are all color coordinated just like my closet, I can't help but love to see all the right colors next to each other.)
Me- "Hummmm still looking... sorry GG I don't see that shirt here I'll show you all of your blue ones and you tell me if you see it"
GG- "No, No, No, not it, that's weird I wonder were it went I just wore it."
Me- "Ya I don't know, I can't picture what shirt it is but I'm sure it will show up."
Next morning she went to her closet and found the "blue" shirt she had been looking for.
She says "I found it I pulled it out so you would see it.
"GG that's not blue, that's purple."
"No it's not it's blue I'm sure of it it's always been blue"
"Uhuhuhuh I don't think so"
"Yes it is, you are freaking me out Andi, you're just kinda weird."
hahahaha we were laughing so hard, so she told me to promise not to tell Nog what color I thought the shirt was and that SHE was going to ask him herself.
He came in and she says " Logan, what color is this shirt?"
 He says "purple"
she looks at me and says No!... you guys are just weird.
hahah I love her.
So, back to my story. We got on our day time clothes, waved goodbye to Nog and headed for our number 1 place. (As of Yesterday) GG rode in front to make sure her scooter wouldn't run me over, that thing is fast, I'm telling you! I rode behind, my legs were moving as fast as they could without me running trying to keep up with that speed racer. But I was listening to some music while I walked so I was pumped. We figured out how to get there and where all the places were that she could get up to with her scooter,
we made it.
We went inside, got her prescriptions, the lady there asked if we had a 3 generation thing going on, I said "ya pretty much" (which really it's a 4 but you know) you don't see that very often" she says. We got a few other necessities, rode down that dangerous isle that calls both of our names with its deliciousness starring us right in the face. Chocolate, foods covered in chocolate, twislers, sprees, big hunks, laffy taffys, sour patch kids, it was like they were speaking to us, pick me! Eat me! But not this time and maybe only this time did we get away safely. We walked away without a fuss. Even I was surprised we didn't give in. But we were strong and we strolled out of there with our heads high. Now that I think of it maybe we didn't get any because we knew that just hours later we could have all we wanted. But for those 2 hours we DID still hold our heads high. Then it was time for even more fun, four of GG's friends came over to play a little game.
This here, is a game called chicken foot and boy do I love this game. I sat and played with them for hours. I had a blast, Koli played too in the next chair over on her bumbo, she was a great helper. We laughed, shouted, cheered, and ate and ate and ate. Oh what a day, what a life, and I sure do love it.

My Dream Car

This car above here is a champ, in fact it is the champ above all other champs. It has been through a heck of a lot, it has seen it all. It's had the wind blown in it's hair, it has gone through nearly all my brother and sisters. With each one bumping something or ramming it into something they shouldn't have. It's seen rocks flown in its face, truck(s) slammed into its side. It's been backed into more than any car should be. It's been drag racing, (who knows, could be) it's visors have fallen on random laps unexpectedly. It's seen about a million different gas prices. It's gone on MANY trips, it has seen the dessert, the forest, the gravel, the ocean, the sand, the cops (many of times), it has witnessed many awkward dates, and also many good ones. Songs have been sung as loud and off key as they can be sung. It's speakers have been blown, it's windows have been broken, and replaced. It's seats have been stained. Angry words have been yelled at the "other" bad drivers going by, prayers have been spoken, tears have been shed, all in this very car. This is the first car that my little girl rode in for her first time.
(okay ya, this isn't her first time in my car and actually this isn't even my car isn't Nog's but this picture is the cutest thing ever so I had to add it.
~
It has logged us both around for the past year. (in my belly) and it was my absolute favorite especially then when I was not a fan of walking places waddling around like a penguin the whole way. :) It has seen me through thick and thin, come to think of it this car probably knows me better than anyone else.

This car of mine has been broken down in my drive way for a month now. Nog has been so busy with well.... Life, that he hasn't had the time to fix it. But guess what folks today is the day. Today is the day it shall work once more. And when it does I am going to jump in it and go as fast as I can. I've missed this car. Who would have thought all this time I have been thinking and maybe wishing a little, "if this car broke down for good it wouldn't be the worst thing ever" and now here I am driving Nogs car and all I wanna do is jump in that old beat up car of mine and take it to where ever I please. So glad it hasn't quite working all together, that will sure be a sad day. But for now it works, despite all those noises it makes while running, it still runs and it's the best car I know. It is mine and it is MY favorite.
SO.... with exactly 230,099 miles on it now,
Lets see how many more miles this babies got left in her. (all cars are "hers" by the way) ask anyone.

Bumbo time

I've had this idea of making something that holds all of Kolis headbands since we found out we were having a girl. And Nog came up with this for her, he made it, and it's my favorite! This girl has enough headbands and braclets for the whole neighborhood, I'm kinda obsessed, it's a problem.

We just took our Christmas lights down, and while we were doing it we stuck Koli in the bumbo and she was lovin it.

Hanging out on the bathroom counter while I get ready.

What's new with the Koli Bean...

4 Months Old.
Me and Nog were laughing so hard when she saw this. This little girl is amazing every morning when we unwrap her she has some body part of out of her clothes. I don't know how she does it but she does every time. One time she kicked the entire outfit off and it was in the very bottom of her wrap. I unwrapped her then asked Nog if he undressed her last night hahah he said no, and she had done it all on her own. She got pretty close the next day with one arm barely in the sleeve still. haha and that little arm always pops up like she's been waiting forever to be free. I love the mornings with this girl.
Koli has been sleeping less and less at night so we decided to start giving her rice cereal just before she goes to bed. She loves this stuff and the past 2 nights shes slept an hour longer between each feeding then before so hurray it's helping.

Her new thing is to tuck here lower lip. So cute.
I'm just getting over being sick and Koli was so sweet she cuddled with me for an hour, totally awake just staring at me and playing with my mouth. She's figured out how to use her hands and she reaching for everything. :)

All Settled

So it's official GG is all settled in and feels right at home. We brought over all of her things from her house and put them here in this room for her so she would feel most comfortable. She was so cute when she saw the room with all of her things in it she got so excited, she said she loves it. I'm so glad! And Koli is in heaven, seriously this girl LOVES GG. If she's crying all I got to do is walk in GG's room and she instantly perks up. She is always giving Grandma the biggest grins ever. They are best buds these two. Like two pees in a pod.
When I want to get some things done I'll put Koli on GG's bed, they could hang out all day.

These are pictures of her room with all of her things.
And I even get to borrow her books, it's great.

With Ree's help ALOT of Ree's help. We put together this picture wall for her from all the pictures she had at her house. I think it turned out pretty cute.
